Catalina Díaz Martínez

Catalina Diaz Martinez | Artista Plastico Mexicana nacida en Julio 1988.
Nací y fui criada en la ciudad de México junto con mis 2 hermanos y mis padres. Después de la secundaria , de manera autodidacta me decidí a hacer mi carrera en el taller de mi padre, donde pasaría ocho años de mi vida aprendiendo y desarrollandome como Ingeniero Mecánico (Operación y CAM CNC Programación y Diseño de Herramientas CAD) . Hasta octubre de 2013 la pintura había sido un hobby para mí; la sensación , el dominio y la pasión que me llena cuando estoy pintando me llevaron a tomar el reto como pintor de tiempo completo. 

Toda mi vida he tenido una tendencia a la creatividad y un gran interés y amor por las artes plásticas , desde la escuela primaria mi capacidad para las obras artísticas y de artesanía era notoria , así que mis padres promovieron el desarrollo de esas habilidades durante mi crecimiento , y ahora gracias a ellos , se ha convertido en mi forma de vida.

A los 12 años empecé con clases de dibujo y pintura con la Maestro Rosa Edna Galindo , con Maestría en Artes Visuales en la Antigua Academia de San Carlos. Quién fortaleció y desarrolló mi habilidad para el dibujo y la pintura utilizando diferentes técnicas y medios plásticos. 

Alrededor de los 18 años completé los siguientes talleres profesionales en laAntigua Academia de San Carlos en la Ciudad de México::

·         Técnicas y materiales para las Artes Visuales.

·         Dibujo de la figura humana.

·         La pintura de caballete.

Más tarde en la Escuela de Técnicas de PIntura Vincent Van Gogh y bajo la dirección de la maestra Luz García Ordoñez , completé con éxito los siguientes cursos profesionales certificados por el secretario de Educación Pública en México.

·         2011 , Técnica Veneciana y su virtuosismo Aplicada en el arte de hoy..

·         2012 , Técnica Veneciana.

·         2013 , El color y la piel . De Rembrandt a Lucian Freud.

Actualmente estoy residiendo en Michigan EE.UU. con mi novio y mi perro dedicando mi tiempo completo a la pintura.

Catalina Diaz Martinez | Mexican plastic artist born in July 1988. Raised inMéxico City along with my 2 brothers and my parents. After high school, as a self-taught person I decided to make my career in my father's workshop, where I would spend eight years of my life learning and developing as Mechanical Engineer (Operation and CAM CNC Programming and Design Tooling CAD). Until October 2013, painting had been a hobby for me, the feel, the command and the passion that fills me when I'm painting drove me to take the challenge as full time painter. 

All my life I have had a tendency to creativity and a strong interest and love for plastic arts, since primary school my ability for artistic and crafting works was notorious, so my parents promoted the development of those skills while growing up, and now thanks to them, It has become my way of life. 

At age 12 I started with drawing and painting lessons with the Teacher Rosa Edna Galindo, Master of Visual Arts at the San Carlos' Old Academy. Who strengthened and developed my skill in drawing and painting using different techniques and plastic media. 

Around age 18 I completed the following professional workshops in San Carlos' Old Academy México City:

·         Techniques and materials for the Visual Arts.

·         Drawing of the human figure.

·         Easel Painting.

Later at Vincent Van Gogh School of Painting Techniques under the direction of teacher Luz Garcia Ordoñez, I successfully completed the following professional courses certified by the secretary of public education in México.

·         2011, Venetian Technique and its Virtuosity Applied in Today's Art.

·         2012, Venetian Technique.

·         2013, Color and Skin. From Rembrandt to Lucian Freud.

I'm currently residing in Michigan USA with my boyfriend and my dog dedicating myself to painting.
